The Ermenegildo Zegna Couture campaign for their Spring Summer 2015 collection continues to interpret the dichotomy between architecture and space, which was the primary inspiration behind the SS15 fashion show.

“Architecture vs space, this was my starting point,” explains head of design Stefano Pilati. “My first aim besides working on the collections has always been using an intuition and this dichotomy, that firstly inspired the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture SS15 fashion show, defines the basis of this Campaign, where the location itself is an essential component”.

Featuring the graphic layout of the previous two campaigns, now an integral element of Zegna iconography, the images reveal an evolved silhouette and attitude: the modern attire of the new leader, a man who effortlessly merges apparent opposites in a personal expression of modern aesthetics, using the combination of color, texture and stripes as a symbol of style.

The storytelling present in the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture campaign, achieved through the powerful photography of prolific duo Inez & Vinoodh, draws inspiration from cinematographic language, with a particular reference to the legendary German director Wim Wenders.
