They beat us to it. Just as we were calling Douglas Elliman, phone in hand and 16 million dollars, also in hand, the diminutive Olsen twin and her banking beau Olivier Sarkozy snapped it up.

The house, described as ‘a cornerstone of Turtle Bay Gardens, a unique enclave of townhouses on an exclusive central garden promenade,’ and boasts ‘a hall of mirrors leading to a double height grand ballroom, with 22 ft. ceilings…an expansive double height sky lit artist’s studio…a private garden with its own central fountain…four to five bedrooms, seven fireplaces, garage, elevator.’
